Extremely rare issue of a New Brighton (Liverpool) football club against Ellesmere Port October 1962 played at Tranmere`s ground Issue is larger than A4. the game was played at Tranmere due to on-going work at NB Tower ground where floodlights were being installed and Liverpool paying the game to open the lights New Brighton were a Football League Club till 1950, then after relegation played in the Northern League which during the 1950`s-60`s was a very strong league indeed, the strongest outside the FL. The club eventually found themselves in the Cheshire County League until they disbanded in 1982, finding themselves relegated to playing on a council park pitch. The club was reformed in the late 1980s`and played their way up into the West Cheshire League but disbanded again around 2010 Being a paper issue for this historic old ex football league club very few have survived. Don't lose out on this one, very unlikely another will appear again
