The side of this vintage petrol cigarette lighter carries the pre 1941 French lighter tax plate. The upper rim of the case is stamped - Briquet-Tempete Depose. One side of the flint frame is stamped with a logo comprising an outline of a pipe and - SB 89-1. It has a screw closure to the flint tube. Diameter 11mm, length overall 75mm. (25.4mm = 1 inch) Dimensions are approximate. To conform with airline shipping restrictions the lighters that I offer for sale are emptied of fuel and flints are removed. The wadding is removed if it has any trace of fuel. When shipped the lighter is totally inert and comprises only of the components of original manufacture and construction. This lighter will be shipped with the taper but no flint. The pictures of this item may have reflections from the studio lighting and/or dark reflections from the surroundings.
