BRISTOL semi opaque MILKY glass VASE lily of the valley handpainted OPALESCENT flint NAILSEA satin CLAM BROTH Bristol (?) 4.25" Tall Glass VaseEnglish? From England? Vase Characteristics: Slightly flared rim is same size as base; neck tapers in then flares out; gently tapers down to subtle inner / outer / inner effect; gently flows out to base.Pontil is very smooth at outer edges; inner core area slightly dimpled. Glass Qualities: A Semi-opaque, satiny, milky, soft, transluscent, very delicate, opalescent Several tiny air bubbles noticed as well as one subtle vertical "birthmark" of a lighter color variation in the glass - backside. Glass Coloration: Unusual clam broth like - faded toffee / muddy green / murky yellow / smokey olive Handpainted w/: Enamel (?) paint Featuring on Front: LILIES OF THE VALLEY Lily of the Valley (Pretty little bell shaped white (w/ yellow trim* & green leaves ) detailed flowers hanging in a row) * = See photos - w t is grey / gray that is actually a muted mustard yellow Looks like t may have also been additional item painted in gold; a fewfaded flecks / remnants off to right side & above floral spray Adorable Pristine Exceptional ANTIQUE Excellent Vintage Condition: Shows minimal evidence of age - wear - use; nothing detracts or distracts from unusual display quality &/or utilitarian value. read more
