CONTENTS This is a superb brochure for BRISTOL sleeve valve aero engines from the immediate post war period. The brochure is a comprehensive guide to the sleeve valve engines made by the company, copiously illustrated with colour pictures of the engines, components, and aircraft using these engines. Engines are; Hercules Centaurus Perseus Pegasus Mercury Aircraft include Short Solent Viking Tudor VII Hermes Sea Fury Ambassador Brigand There is a black and white photograph of a Solent 4 in the rear pocket. This is a very rare and interesting piece, and an ideal item for the collection of the aviation enthusiast or any collector of Bristol memorabilia. LANGUAGE English, and French. SIZE 12” x 9 ¾ ” approximately FORMAT 28 page plus covers, staple bound. CONDITION The brochure is in fair to good condition. There has been some damp damage, mainly to the spine area, the staples are rusting or missing and the centre page is loose. Some rust burn to centre and rot to extreme lower spine.
