Britains Cadbury Cocucubs figure - SILAS SLINK FOX- introduced 1934-1939. These hollowcst hand painted lead figures were made by Britains as giveaway promotional gifts with their Bourneville Cocoa, "The Children's Cocoa. The artist Ernest Aris styled these figurines after the Beatrix Potter series for which he was also the artist. Cadbury's announced "A toy in every tin". The full collection includes 32 characters. Children of the 1930s worked hard to collect them all! Toy production ceased with the outbreak of the War Some paint loss consistent with age. Otherwise in good condition.
