VERY RARE Britains Lilliput Building L8 boxed Inn or Country House. These models were sold by Britains in the late 1950's to go with their Lilliput or OO/HO gauge farm figures, animals and carts. There were only 3 items in this series, L8 Roadside Inn or Country House, L9 A Pair of country cottages and L10 a Typical Barn and Cart Stables. I am offering all 3 as separate lots this week. In Britains catalogue they are described as "produced in a strong light weight material, finished in bold strong colours and with self adhesive windows". The L8 boxed Inn is in fair condition for its age. The bright colours have faded with time and there is a little wear along the edges. Only one of the self adhesive windows survives but I have done 4 photocopies of it if you should want to use them. The box is also complete and retains its bright colours. It has some creasing and a slight tear, front top left-hand. Underneath is a small label 'L8'. Please check the pictures; if you have any further queries please ask. I only want satisfied buyers. Dimensions (from Britains catalogue): model 4.75 X 2.25 X 3.75 inches high. Box 5 X 4 X 2.7/8 inches. If you buy more than one lot, I will combine postage.
