A good condition, original British 1888 Mk1 2nd type Lee Metford bayonet made at Enfield. The pommel, crossguard and tang have no pitting and are stained. The riveted wooden grips show light overall wear and a few light scratch marks. The blade is in good condition with no pitting or damage and is dated 8/91. The steel mounted leather scabbard is in fair condition. The steel mounts show several light dents and the bottom mount is missing one staple. Sold as a collectable.
