Vintage 1940's Students Microscope No.1 in original box. Made in England by a company called Signalling Equipment Ltd SEL. Box says on lid "Students Microscope NO 1. Magnification 44X..Optically & Mechanically of The Highest Quality" Still has its forceps, 1 original glass slide and instruction sheet Really nice student microscope approx 4 1/2 inches in height as seen in box. Works using mirror not a light, In good condition for age with just some surface "aging" of the clips to hold slide in place & paintloss to base. The original box is in fairly good shape with only one split to lid. The box top still has the origional price!! Great addition to any collection of this type of scientific instrument !!!
