This is a great example of an army-issue, Royal Irish Rangers caubeen. The caubeen's outer material is a dark-green coloured, fine cloth; its badge is a staybrite version. This badge is in excellent condition. The inner, quilted nylon liner is present and is in excellent shape.The band has been very neatly widened beneath the flap in order to increase the beret size to 55cm.Behind the badge there is the green regimental hackle. This is in excellent shape also.The caubeen is in used but excellent condition. Weight is 186g.Bidding starts at £15.00 and there is no reserve. P&P to UK is 2.90 pounds and postage to Europe will be 4.50 pounds ( airmail ). P&P to the rest of the world will be £6.50.
