Very rare Pamphlet for the M16 Armalite Rifle. There was only ever 500 copies of the M16 Pams every printed, most of these went to either the SAS/SBS or the training team in Belize. These Pamphlet and the many other that I will be listing over the next few days and weeks are part of a very large collection that was passed on to my living history group from a former Royal Engineers and SAS QMSI. In the 1980s he was tasked with running a selection course and then forming a Recce Section for 38 Eng Reg. To aid him in his instruction he had these pams printed up at the Royal Engineers print works down at Long Marston. The idea was for each student to have his own A4 copy of the manual, rather than taking endless notes. But it seems he got his sums slightly wrong as I was given 3 MFO boxes of these and other handbooks. Each in bundles of 10 and sealed in plastic since they were printed. Hence why we are able to sell them so cheaply.
