PLEASE NOTE - FOR BUYERS OUTSIDE THE UK - WE ONLY ACCEPT PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL, PAID IN STERLING GBP An unblancoed set of British Army WW2 DATED BREN SUPPLEMENTARY POUCHES . This comes as a complete set, and consists of the correct three parts - a 'male' pouch, with a long one inch strap (worn around the middle), a 'female' pouch, with a loop on the back, through which the one inch strap from the 'male' pouch goes, and a short connecting strap which attaches to the brass buckles at the top of each of the pouches. This ensemble would have been worn by some soldiers on Bren MG teams, and would sit above their standard issue waistbelt pouches. The pouches were made by "Bagcraft Ltd", in 1941 and 1944, and are stamped with their details and the dates. The connecting strap was made by "M.E.Co 1941 /I/" (see photos below). These pouches came from ex-British army stores, and would have been used and carried by a variety of services that were equiped with the Bren MG during WW2, including - the Army, Infantry, Paras and Airborne Forces, Commandos, SAS, and the RAF Regiment, amongst others. It's nice to find a complete set. Some slight storage marks, otherwise - Good condition considering it's age. Ideal for the collection or for 'Living History' purposes. A rare set of pouches. Some slight storage marks, following so long in storage. Otherwise, read more
