This Patriotic WW11 Wartime Calendar measuring 16 1/2" by 26 3/4" was issued by the Mutual Life of Canada. The print is titled DEPENDABLE PROTECTOR . The beautifully scripted quote on the first sheet of the calendar pad is an excerpt from the King's radio address to the Empire on Christmas Day 1939. PLEASE NOTE: The script for the quote has an illustrated background..it does not show clearly in the photo..t are no marks or damage to the page. The Calendar and all pages are fully intact with protective metal edges on the top and bottom. PLEASE NOTE : T is a small puncture damage in the upper left area near the airplanes AND the long edges do have some fraying and minor tears which you should look at for your consideration. Just a note of interest for you...Canadians have always associated the image of the British Bulldog with the spirit and determination of Winston Churchill and the British people.
