BRITISH ENFIELD RIFLE SLING GREEN Classic Enfield SMLE series cotton webbing sling in green. This was the official issue sling for British and Commonwealth forces from World War 2 until the adoption of a replacement for the Enfield. It measures 42 1/2 inches long and 1 1/4 wide. Quality thick cotton webbing just look at the picture and you will see it is not one on the cheap thin ones. Brass hardware. Replicated World War 2 markings but with the texture of the sling they are difficult to see. This is a never used current production sling made just like the original.
