The award comes with official ribbon and is in Extremely Fine condition. British miniature orders and medals are officially sanctioned for use on military mess dress uniforms and evening dress. The British Kabul to Kandahar Star, 1880, was awarded to British and Colonial units which took part in General Roberts’ famous march of 310 miles from Kabul to Kandahar during August 9-31, 1880. A total of 16 Victoria Crosses were awarded during the Afghanistan Campaigns, 1878-80. R0231Digital photos were taken in artificial light, and do not always show colors properly.
