For auction is a mint copy of the book by John Whitehouse and Geoff Dowling, published by Silver Linnk and issued in 1987. This book, the 5th in the series, covers the general areas of the West Midlands including Birmingham, South Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Coventry. Its104 pages are profusely illustrated with monochrome photographs reflecting the changing rail scene up to and until 1987. Steam, diesel and electric traction are featured plus many other rail related subjects. Each photograph is accompanied by informative text. The book is in mint condition having been seldom used and has no damage or creasing to any of the pages or card-cover and measures 240mm by 185mm. Payment by Paypal only please.
