These medals were issued to and are all inscribed - SX.2/188 F MILLS - AB (Able Seaman) - RNVR - Howe Battalion - RND (Marine).This medal MAY relate to AB Frederick MILLS (RNVR RND) who died of wounds (DOW) on 29th April 1917 in France.British Empire Pip, Squeak and Wilfred are the affectionate names given to the three WW1 campaign medals.
