ABOUT THIS ITEM This auction is for outstanding adorable bronze vase by French sculptor Auguste Moreau (1822 - 1901). The vase is 11.5" tall featuring a rich, highly detailed floral and insects ornaments. The centerpiece is a sculpture of a cute girl, sitting on a side of the vase. The official title of the vase is "Female Vase". This cast is really old, possibly pre-1900. Please, do not mistake it with modern reproductions widly available on the internet for $250 - 300. This one is a real antique, judging by the weight and quality of the bronze and patination. It is really heavy, over 11lb, so, do not complain about shipping costs! The vase has a seal and a signature of the sculptor. Look carefully at the photographs - t is plenty of them, so you could familiarize yourself with this vase and its features.
