His antlers are full grown and are quite impressive to the ladies. He has a thick neck, strong legs, and a nice build this is something that will definitely impress a doe. This bronze sculpture was cast using the “Lost Wax Method” and has a brown patina. It is mounted on a marble base and is handmade. This sculpture is signed by Barye . Antoine Louis Barye was born in France September 24 th , 1796 and he died 1875. Most of his work was focused exclusively on animals, most of them wild.
