Fine Bronze Japanese SARU Monkey chimpanzee gorilla Okimono netsuke Statue Art The baboon mother and child lay hugging each other into a ball among the open savanna of an African night. Superb detail is seen in the fur of both kin; the process of casting having allowed the skill of the artist to come through. The 100% handmade bronze sculpture was cast using the archaic method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for conservation. It is mounted upon a black marble base with the artist Milo's signature. Size: 9.5" x 6" Weight: 12 lbs Please be sure to check out my other items!
