UP FOR BID IS A BRONZE MEDAL 3 1/2 X 2 7/8" IN A FITTED CASE I AM TOLD IT IS FROM THE PIONEER CLUB WHICH WAS FORMED BY TELEPHONE EMPLOYEES ALSO TOLD THAT THAT THE NEW ENGLAND SYMBOL WITH { BELL IN CIRCLE AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT IS GOLD AND THE STONES ARE PRECIOUS } I AM NO EXPERT SO USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT.THE MEDAL DEPICTS A LINEMAN IN SNOWSHOES CHECKING THE LINES IN A STORM THE BACK OF THE MEDAL IS MARKED W/ IMPRESSED O.C.TANNER-- THANK YOU FOR LOOKING
