This Japanese bronze mirror probably dates to sometime between 1900 and 1950, although it's hard to be sure. The design on the back depicts two cranes and a turtle (representing 1,000 years and 10,000 years of good luck and good health, respectively) amid pine trees. To the left is a maker's mark that begins with the surname, "Fujihara", but we are unable to read the other portion (it starts with "Yoshi", though). T is no particular damage other than overall tarnishing and a few spots of green oxidation and t Even as-is, the mirrored surface gives a fair reflection which would no doubt be much improved with polishing.
