So many different elements come together to create this highly creative Maitland-Smith Monkey lamp. The shade features hand inlaid black Penshell, Mother of Pearl, and decorative brass rope design. The Monkey is created using the artful process of Lost Wax Casting and is finished in a Verdigris Bronze Patina finish. A hand colored leather bound stack of faux books and leather wrapped ball make up the base of the design.There is a YouTube video about it.
