Cast bronze Victorian door bell set, circa 1860's. Includes bronze bell with cast iron base, porcelain knob pull and cast iron wall pulley ... All you need is some wire. Bell is marked 'ABE'S PATENT' and has a date on the back but I cannot make it out. The spring on the bell has been replaced. Works fine. The porcelain pull features a cast bronze shank and a cast bronze screw-in rosette. The shaft is not original (this pull had to be rescued from a very rusty shaft). Porcelain has a dark spot .. otherwise it is in very good condition. Overall a hard-to-find set. Base of the bell measures approx. 3" x 4-1/2" -- Bell is 3-7/8" diameter -- Pull knob is 1-5/8" diameter. Buyer pays $8.95 shipping in the continental U.S. Insurance is optional and recommended.
