About Our Fine Art Prints The WardMaps name is associated with quality. Our map prints are museum quality, printed on archival papers using acid-free, archival inks. Our printing process ensures that the original colors of the maps are preserved, retaining the original patina and coloring of the maps. We do not âeoeblastâe the backgrounds of our map prints or alter the original coloring. Placed side by side, our map prints are frequently mistaken for the original antique maps. Each of our map prints is printed to order and must pass individual inspection before we ship it. Our prints are superior. We exclusively use professional-grade Epson Ultrachrome inks and print onto specially formulated, genuine Epson white matte paper. Our prints are not color copies, nor are they simple ink-jet prints. Our prints are "100 year" prints. About Us We are antique map dealers who have sold thousands of 19th and early 20th century antique maps, prints and cartographic gifts of locales ranging from Boston to Brooklyn to Paris and many places in between. The majority of our prints are reproduced from our own collection of thousands of genuine antique maps.
