Vintage 8x10 photograph by BRUCE OF LOS ANGELES, BRUCE OF LA, BRUCE BELLAS, of MARK NIXON. Bruce photographed MARK NIXON multiple times, beginning in 1959. Mark was one of the most popular models of the early 60's and reflects the changing taste for a leaner body and more youthful appearance. Mark had some success as a regular fashion model, a line of clothing he designed, and at this point was also in the catering "party" business. The wonderful thing about this lot is that it shows a "trade" of services between model and photographer. With Bruce agreeing to photograph a client's party and turn over the negatives to Mark, in lieu of paying Mark the 48.00 fee for posing. This receipt was purchased from the Bruce estate and we unconditionally guaranty it's authenticity. A wonderful piece of ephemera for fans of Mark Nixon and Bruce Bellas. This is the ONLY signed ephemera by Mark Nixon/ Bruce of LA that we own.MARK NIXON appears in the Male Figure Magazine by Bruce in Issue 14, 1959.
