Brush McCoy Brownie Gold Girl Scout Elf Pixie Membership Weekly Dues Bank 1968 Welcome to my auction for this vintage pottery Brush/McCoy Brownie Gold Girl Scout bank shaped like a Brownie elf or pixie. It stands 6-1/4" tall and measures 5" across from ear to ear. The Girl Scout Brownie Trefoil is on the front of the hat and underneath it is reads Brownie Gold. It is marked on the bottom with an "R" in a circle and also reads BROWNIE. These banks were used at the Brownie weekly meetings. When you paid your dues you inserted the money into the bank and sang:"Clink Clank, Clink Clank, The Brownie Gold is in the Bank"!T is a slot on his back to insert the coins. No chips or cracks and the finish is in excellent condition as well. The paint "wash" finish gives it a rustic look and is part of its original charm, not dirty.All of my items come from a smoke free environment. Payment is expected within 10 days of auction close. I accept PayPal, money orders and personal checks. I reserve the right to hold items paid for with a personal check for up to 10 days for the check to clear. I have several items up for auction this week and will gladly combine shipping to save you money wver practical.
