Here is beautiful and solidly made spoon from Bruxelles Brussels Belgium dating back to years around 1900 in 800 silver, which is containing 80% pure silver instead of 92.5% for sterling. It features handle in a very nice ornate pattern. In the gold finished bowl it has embossed image of church building (Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula), the writing is BRUXELLES. This spoon is marked 800 (European sterling) and has maker's hallmark. Measures 4-3/4" long (122 mm), feels solid, weighs 15.6 grams and condition is excellent.
