BSR Turntable, AM/FM Stereo Receiver, 8 Track Player This is a very nice vintage unit made by BSR of Great Britain under the label Winthrop. I tested it to the best of my ability with what I have on hand; headphones and an LP, I do not have an 8 track tape or speakers that plug in. The turntable seems to work as it should, the AM/FM receiver also works. In 8 track mode the #2 program lights up but it does not change tracks - I don't know if that's because there is no tape in. All the buttons, knobs and switches (SCRATCH, RUMBLE, LOUDNESS, AFC, AM, FM, FM STEREO, TAPE, PHONO) appear to work as they should (the switch for bass is missing the little black middle part). The cosmetic condition overall is very good, the faceplate is nice and clean, the chrome (plastic ?) is nice and shiny and the veneer is free of rips, tears or gouges. The dust cover has no cracks or chips but does have marks ot the top right corner and sidewhere - it looks like something melted on it (see 2nd to last picture). There is a packing sleeve and instruction sheet included. The pictures below are not the best, I will try to get better ones tomorrow. Sorry - Sold "As Is" with no returns on this unit!
