BTB PRESENTS: Timothy, OOAK mohair bear by Ingrid Schmid of Bears'n'Company Standing slightly over 12 inches and fully jointed, Timothy has the slender build and meticulous sewing skills for which this Canadian artist is so well known. Ingrid's work appears annually in the Teddy Bears of Whitney catalogue and can be found in bear stores throughout the US and Europe. Timothy is part of her childhood series (all are gentle looking and a bit lanky in build) and is made from soft tan sparse mohair and stuffed firmly with poly and pellets. He has glass eyes, perfectly stitched nose and mouth, and ultrasuede pads. He also has great ears. Look at his back shot to really see them. Timothy wears a soft navy wool jacket with light tan stripes and gold buttons. There are hidden snaps down his front and the jacket is removable. Timothy wears his mother's watch around his neck. Although it is not working, it brings him comfort to keep it near. Timothy has leather inseam and paper hang tags. The string visible on the front of his jacket is actually the hang tag we stuck inside his coat for safe keeping. Timothy is in excellent condition and comes from a smoke free home.
