Buchan Thistle Sugar & Creamer Set - Made in Scotland Up for bid is a lovely Buchan Thistle Sugar and Creamer Set made in Scotland . I purchased it in Edinburgh on the Royal Mile in 1980 for my grandmother, and it was on display in her home and never used. On the front of the pieces is the thistle pattern, and the reverse features a dainty bluebell flower design. The open sugar bowl is 2.25" tall and the creamer is 3.5" in height measuring from the spout. The marks on the bottom read "Buchan Portobello Scotland Finest Stoneware Made in Scotland ." The creamer has the number "313 6" and the sugar bowl is numbered "312."
