Buchanan Black & White Whisky Adv Scottie Dog Automaton This is a wonderful and rare advertising electrical automaton for James Buchanan & Co., Ltd, Glasgow Scotland, 'Black & White' Scotch Whisky. Two Scottie dogs (black & white) slowly pop out of their metal box and begin barking and moving their heads from side to side. Then as the lid slowly lowers, the dogs go back in their box. This cycle repeats until turned off. T is also a barking mute button that can be turned allowing for movement only. The box is in very good condition with a few small scratch/rust spots and the mechanisms work excellent. The box measures 8" long x 6" wide x 6 3/4" high. I took many photos on a continuous shoot setting, so you can see the action (just scroll through the pictures quickly).
