BUFFALO CHINA GREEN STRIPE RESTAURANT COFFEE MUG *1927* Up for auction is a great, Very early, HEAVY (weighs in at just over a lb.) coffee mug in the green striped "Niagara"? pattern made by Buffalo China. Good condition. No chips or cracks, but shows it's age with a little age staining. Measures 3 1/2" tall & 3 3/8" across mouth. Green stripe line treatment including down the handle.Marked on bottom as shown with the early Buffalo China script mark & 1927 date. A great early piece of Green Stripe Niagara restaurant ware china. Similar patterns were made by virtually all restaurant china manufactures including Syracuse, Jackson, Shenango, HL, Mohawk China among a few.
