A very nice brightly colored beautiful Buffalo gas and oil company porcelain advertising sign.This sign is almost 12 inches in size. There is only light surface rust that has not eaten through to damage this sign. Look carefully at all pictures.I have tried to take good close-up pictures of rusted areas. The porcelain is thick . The gloss is good.and the colors are not faded, but still very vibrant and beautiful. A nice coat of a wax, such as Pledge, will protect this sign from any moisture that might do further damage. If displayed indoors, nothing to worry about. If someone might want to display outdoors, a clear coat of polyurethane will protect perfectly for many years to come. However, that might compromise the future value of the sign. This is a nice heavy porcelain sign. Porcelain coated front and back. This is not one of those new light weight tin, aluminum or cheap homemade stenciled signs that have been made to look like the older porcelain signs. Study all the pictures. Thank you.
