This hexagonal vanity pin cushion features a shield depicting the McKinley Memorial in Buffalo, New York. The monument to President William McKinley was erected in 1907. It is the centerpiece of downtown built as an act of civic expiatio: McKinley was assassinated at the Buffalo Pan American Exposition of 1901.It is made of white metal and gold velvet.
