JUST FOUND IN LOCAL ESTATE OF 82 YEAR WOMAN. THIS LOVELY EARLY BUFFALO POTTERY, SEMI-VITREOUS POTTERY 1909 PITCHER. BUFFALO POTTERY MARKED THE OLDER VINTAGE ITEMS WITH THE DATE OF MANUFACTURE. MEASUREMENTS: 6" HIGH, ABOUT 7" ACROSS. IN APPROPRIATE ESTATE CONDITION. NO MAJOR CHIPS OR CRACKS. T IS AGE CRAZING AND SLIGHT DISCOLORATION. TWO TINY FLEA BITE CHIPS ON THE RIM THAT DO NOT DETRACT FROM THIS BEAUTY! AT AGE 99, YOU ARE ENTITLED TO A COUPLE OF MINUTE CHIPS!!! MORE INFO: BUFFALO POTTERY WAS MADE IN BUFFALO, NEW YORK, AFTER 1902. THE COMPANY WAS ESTABLISHED BY THE LARKIN COMPANY, FAMOUS MANUFACTURERS OF SOAP.
