is a must have bull buffalo skull. I work at a small buffalo packing plant in South Dakota. I have been selling buffalo skulls on ebay for 6+ years. I have my pick of all the buffalo skulls that come through the plant. I have been selling the big ones privately, but now I have decided to list some of these big boys and see who really wants an exceptional skull. This skull comes from a bull that was around 7 yrs. old. This skull weighs a whopping 19 lbs. The horn caps weigh in at about 3 lbs. each. The horns are the biggest, longest horns I have ever had. They are an incredible 23" from base to tip. These horns make this skull a true one-of-a-kind. It is hard to tell how thick these horns are without a caliper, but I would guess them at 1/2". (A normal 2 yr. old bull buffalo horn is about 1/8" thick.) They are 13 in. in circumference at the base. The horns are 21" wide tip to tip and are 32" wide at their widest. The skull measures a whopping 33" from nose to horn tip. The goggled eyes are 14" wide from outside edge to outside edge. I have included a picture of this skull sitting beside a normal skull. This normal buffalo skull weighs in at about 5 lbs. bull. I am going to put a high beginning price on this skull. I am torn between selling it and owning it.
