Blade is folded 5 times starting from 9 layers Of 1095 and 15N20 giving approximately 288 Layers in this awesome Pattern. Damascus Blade of the knife is the result of hours and hours of forging. Prestigious Damascus Steel Blade was given excellent heat treatment and Possess awesome Edge holding and retention with 60 Rockwell Hardness of the blade edge. Approximately 4.85 mm Thick blade has fantastic hand grinds on both sides with top side left with a false edge. Not many custom makers can keep such a pattern of layers upon layers flowing all the way to the edge of the blade, which creates a saw-blade effect at microscopic level, allowing the blade to keep cutting while other blades have dulled. Overall length of this Knife is 18.25" and the length of the blade is 12.0 inches. The main ingredients of handle include BULL HORN.
