This is a old BULLDOG BRAND knife and a beautiful 1984 stockman with scarce marked master blade etched: COWBOYS PET, 3 7/8 inch closed, 3 blade, square bolster stockman knife. This knife is in mint condition, first generation stamp, new old stock. German made: BULLDOG BRAND with old two bulldog stamp. No box. Handles are beautiful matched genuine stag.' Roosters and 1st generation bulldog . Shield is fancy shaped spade, nickle silver and unmarked. Master blades are tang stamped with the FIGHT'N BULLDOG (TM), HANDMADE, BULLDOG BRAND HAMMER FORGED SOLINGEN GERMANY trademark on the back. This knife, and handles are like factory new with no deteriotion or rust. $3 US dollar shipping. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding! Here is some tips for GERMAN or US made knives with celluliod handles, never oil the blades with WD-40. It has a solvent which causes the chemical reaction between the brass liners and celluliod. Instead use a very small amount of 3 in one oil or similar, and wipe all excess oil away. Keep oil off the handles. If your knives need celluloid treatment have them Celluseal-ed.
