30-06/308 CAL. BRASS RIFLE CASING BALL POINT All bullet pens are made of a combination of two 30-06 and .308 rifle cartridges. As a Navy Veteran I take great care in crafting these cartridges into the beautiful and functional pens they become. They have been fired so some might have a scratch or a ding in the shell. The bullet pen(s) you receive comes with one ink pen fill. When this ink has become emptied, it can be easily replaced with a standard Cross pen fill which can be found at your nearest office supply store. Directions for Use: To open the pen and expose the ball point, simply twist the pen as you would any normal pen. Changing the ink fill: Simply pull apart the two rifle cartridges, twist the pen fill counterclockwise to remove the fill, then insert a new pen fill and twist it clockwise until it is hand tight. This is no different from any other pen you've come across before. The brass cartridges will naturally patina over time. The bullet pen is beautiful with the patina, but can also easily be brought back to it's stunning high polish with cleaners such as "Brasso" or your favorite brass polishing compound All bullet pens are made by hand at my house in Texas.
