ORIGINAL BULLFIGHT POSTER FROM 18th September 1966, advertising the corrida at the Plaza De Toros, El Puerto De Santa Maria, Cadiz in Andalucía, Spain. CARTEL DE CORRIDA EN EL PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA 1966. This authentic original lithograph isin good condition. It has no substantial creasing which is clearly shown in the photos. Generally unspoilt and undamaged, colours remain strong and vibrant. This poster advertises a great bill with two of the greatest names of the era Manuel Benítez "El Cordobés", the richest and most prolific matador of all time and a huge international star at the time, Francisco Rivera "Paquirri," the charismatic superstar who died tragically after being gored in Pozoblanco in 1984, Posters of this quality from this era are hard to find, and this is an ideal starter if you are interested in collecting the magnificent poster art of this unique Spanish cultural and artistic tradition.
