Presented for sale is a Bulova 10 carat rolled gold gentlemans' Art Deco vintage watch manufactured in 1954. In excellent restored condition, the dial has just been expertly refinished, the crystal has recently been replaced and a new leather strap has just been fitted. The watch is also freshly serviced, running well and keeping time. Quadruple signed, on the case, dial, crown and movement, as with all of my watches, authenticity is backed by a full money refund guarantee. If you have any questions do please contact me; you can email me at Case : 10 carat rolled gold bezel, in very good condition with the expected marks from use over the years but nothing of any significance that I could see to highlight. The case measures approximately 39 mm from lug to lug and 25 mm across excluding the signed crown. The outside of the stainless steel rear cover is marked " Bulova" and "L4" which dates the watch to 1954. Dial : just restored back to as it looked when new, signed "Bulova " with hours marked by Arabic numerals and batons. A subsidiary seconds dial is located just above 6 o'clock.The hands are in very good shape and the crystal is clean and clear with a couple of hard to see small light scratches. Movement : freshly serviced Bulova cal. 10BT Swiss 15 jewel movement, running strongly and keeping time. Strap : fitted with a generic brown lizard grain strap which fitted to the watch measures approximately 208 mm from buckle tip to last hole. This provides a maximum insurance value of up to 500 GBP subject to Royal Mail conditions. If you are purchasing an item at a price above £500 and pay using Paypal we must observe their rules by sending the watch by courier. In order to receive their protection service, Paypal requires us to send the watch to you with full on line tracking and a signature on delivery. Therefore we have to use a courier service, as Royal Mail either provides full on line tracking (Airsure) or obtains a signature on delivery (International Signed For) but unfortunately not both. The cost of using the courier service is 45-£50 GBP to most countries but we will shoulder part of the cost and charge you just 29.95 GBP. If you wish us to send the watch to by Royal Mail International Signed For at a cost of 12.95 GBP and you accept that insurance will be limited to 500 GBP we can at your request do so if you pay by direct bank to bank transfer.
