TITLE: THE BUNCH BOOK AUTHOR: James Douglas ILLUSTRATOR: Cecil Aldin PUBLICATION DATE: 1932 FORMAT: 9 X 6" 174 page hardcover book with dark green boards and gilt lettering and decorative gilt illustration of a Sealyham dog. CONDITION: Good + . I have seen many copies of this particular book but have never seen this edition before. It is larger than the usual edition, and the gilt decorative boards and high quality rough cut paper make me wonder if it was a special or limited first edition. There is no dust jacket. A neatly printed bookplate is pasted on the front paste down. The title page is foxed and there is foxing on the page edges when the book is closed, but the pages are clean and no foxing within the text block. There are many black and white illustrations by Aldin, some full page and others within the text block. This is the story of a delightful Sealyham puppy told by his owner as he grows up and matures, and the many incidents in his life.
