Bunnies by the Bay Mohair 1996 "Alice" Never Displayed Search I believe this was the first, or at least one of the very first Limited Edition mohair Bunnies by the Bay offerings. Alice, a bear, was introduced in 1996 and was the winner of the "Teddy Bears and Friends" Magazine 1996 Public's Choice TOBY Award. She is indeed a winner. She was created in the original Anacortes, Washington workshop. Alice is 13" tall (with her hat) and made of creme mohair. Her dress is tea stained sheer woven plaid with antique lace collar and trim of lace, ribbon, hand-crafted flowers and a honey bee. Her straw hat is secured with a large hat pin and covered with white lace, trimmed in ribbons, flowers and a bee. She has ben carefully stored and never displayed. She is in mint condition with her original hang tag and ribbon tie. She is #310 by "Chris". I also will include a store card introducing her and her award from the store w I purchased her.
