Rare Bureau of Printing & Engraving Knife Washington DC This is a very unusual item. It is a knife for the Bureau of Printing and Engraving Washington DC. I do not know if it was made as a souvenir knife or something they used t It it really neat. The knife itself is a teal color with a silver colored disk going around it with the "Bureau of printing and Engraving Washington DC" on it. You have to kind of pop the top like a pen and a blade will pop out. You then can pop it again to retract the blade. The blade only comes out when you hold the knife down and it only goes back in when you hold it up. With blade closed it is just under 3" long. The blade is almost 1 1/4" long.
