Rare Burgarella chind doll made by Gaspare Burgarella in Rome Italy from 1925 until world war two. She stands 24" tall and has brown side glancing eyes. She is all composition and jointed at the neck, shoulders,elbows,hips and knees. They came with either human hair or mohair wigs and I cannot tell which hers is. If it is human hair it is very fine. Her dress and pinafore appear original. The slip and panties are not. Her shoes are nice old leather childs shoes and her black stockings might be original. She does have some problems. There are some scrapes in the paint on her body. Her feet have had some repair. Her hands have some paint missing and ther is a scuff in the paint on her nose. Please look closely at photos and if you need more pictures ask and I will email them.These dolls are very hard to find and her small condition problems do not detract from her beauty. She is sold as is.
