1896 BRITISH REGISTRY MARKBurgess & Leigh Late Victorian Aesthetic Transferware Teapot that reflects the importance of India to the British Empire during that period of history. This design also appeared on a Huntley and Palmer biscuit tin. A duplicate is on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Its image was used for one of their diecut postcards sold in the gift shop. I will enclose that card with the purchase.Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.VERY GOOD & USABLE CONDITION!There is chipping on the inside rim of the pot. It doesn't show when displayed, and teapot can safely be used. There is normal and very minor loss to the gold accents. Please examine photos as part of the description and condition.
