BURGESS & LEIGH Burleigh Ware Blue & White "Calico" 3/4 Pint Teapot 1960's This Super Teapot comes from Burgess & Leigh's Middleport Pottery in Burslem Staffordshire under their Burleigh Ware Tradename and features their "Calico" Pattern in Blue and White. The Teapot is in a Traditional Shape, measuring 2 3/4" at the Base, 3 1/8" at the Top Rim and around 4 1/2" in Diameter at its Maximum. It Stands 4 1/2" Tall to the Top of the Lid and measures 7 1/4" from Tip of Spout to Back of Handle. The Teapot has a Capacity of 3/4 Pint. The Base of the Teapot has an Extract from the Pattern over "CALICO BURLEIGH STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND". The Teapot is in Good Condition. There's a Tiny Nibble (not as big as a Chip) to the Reverse Face of the Spout and a Chip on the Underside of the Lid.But there are No Further Chips, Cracks or Crazing.The Inside shows No Staining Whatsoever - in fact it may never have been used! All of my pottery is well packed for Posting. I have many other items for sale and will be happy to combine Postage and Packing on Multiple Purchases.
