When I Relax, and Focus on the days gone by of my youth, many scenes flash upon the memory screen that is my mind. Going Back to some of my earliest years, which evidently have been a cornerstone of my life, I regress back to Grandma's house. Grandma when she started quilting as a fund raising venue for her local church, had a group of neighbor ladies over for a quilting bee once or twice a week. Grandpa would help make the noon time meal, which they all shared in appreciation for life's gifts that were abundant before them. I must have been 4-5 years old, as I had not yet started school, as my days were spent playing “tent” underneath the quilt frame that was set up in her front living room next to the large picture window. From there, I could imagine Anything and everything about the world and what I might do in it when I grew up. Occasionally, I was invited to “help” quilt , or turn the quilt frame, which gave me a set of experiences that I use daily even today. I like all kids that age , loved to “Help” grandma, and my parents, and although I am sure read more
