Postally used original real photo postcard Sent in 1903. Early photographic view of the opening day of the trams in Burton-on-Trent. Photgrapher's impressed mark bottom right eads "J.S. Simnett, Photo, Burton'. I think this view shows the trams coming down Station Street. The opening day was on August 3rd 1903, and this card was sent on September 13th - about 6 weeks after the event. Surface damage at the crease top left, and other surface waer along the top. Postmark top left, and ink caption along the bottom. Slight lack of contrast, but good clarity and detail Some faults - but a very scarce card See 3 photos for front and back of card and an enlarged section Any 'eBay Image' watermark is not on the actual card of course Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
