Bus timetable - Midland Red, Leicester area dated October 1962. The Midland Red company operated from 1905 to the mid-1980s, having it's roots in a horse-bus operation in Birmingham around 1903. In 1930 the LMS and GWR rail companies jointly bought 50% of Midland Red, and in 1968 the by now enormous operation became publicly-owned, still trading as the familiar Midland Red. It was broken up and sold off in the 1980s. Condition - used. Front cover is creased, a small tear on rear cover, otherwise in good state. Contents undamaged. Size: approx 21.2 x 13 x 1.4 cm . Weight: approx 300 gm. Page count: 312. A Route map is included. P & P: 2nd Class Packet (300 gm) £2.20 + Recorded delivery 95p + Padded envelope approx 65p.
